Kreative Masterminds

Service Description

Kreative Master Minds allows youth 9yr to 19yr to find their voice and build confidence through arts and culture, specifically creative writing. Kreative Master Minds is an eight-week creative writing program for youth ages 9 to 19. In this class, we focus on enrichment activities that promote mindfulness, self-esteem, identity, writing, and culture. We also create an environment that exposes inner-city youth to becoming a writer and possibly an author. All Kreative Master Mind participants will be given the opportunity to not only learn the process of writing a children’s book, build confidence through finding their voice in creative writing, and become pen pals with another sister/friend in the Gambia as well as have a completed published book.
